Open Studio Certification

Overview

OpenStudio meets Level 2 criteria for gbXML Geometry certification. It meets or exceeds the testing requirements for all Level 2 tests and will be seeking Level 3 certification in 2018. See below for more information on how OpenStudio performed in its tests. At the bottom of this page you will find a full history of OpenStudio's certification history. The OpenStudio team prefers all OpenStudio-related gbXML questions be posted on UnmetHours.com, but the team has graciously allowed you to email the gbXML lead if you have any curious questions that are not appropriate for that forum.

Software certified to version 6.0.1 or later comply with the latest gbXML updates for geometry. OpenStudio is up to date with the latest geometry updates in gbXML. For a detailed history of important changes to the gbXML standard click here.
